List of Resources and Assistance for Renters and Landlords Affected by COVID-19
Unfortunately, as the coronavirus crisis continues, unemployment is rising, and more and more renters will struggle to pay rent. And, as struggles the tenant, so struggles the landlord. Fortunately, the federal government, many states, and many non-profits are beginning to offer assistance and other resources for renters to help them pay rent and other bills. Landlords and renters can help one another out by sharing these resources with one another. Here’s an (evolving) list to research. A bit of advice: It’s probably best to look to your local resources first, such as city, county, or local nonprofits.
